CaDansa house rules

CaDansa has these house rules listed below to make and keep the festival accessible to everyone. When buying a ticket and visiting the festival, you agree to this. Any questions?  Mail to questions@cadansa.nl

1. Terrain

1. Visitors are only allowed to enter the site within the opening hours communicated in advance.
2. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek are not liable for damage and/or costs resulting from acts or omissions of other visitors, participants or the manager of the event site.
3. Visitors enter the place where the event takes place and attend the event at their own risk, in the sense that CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek do not accept any liability for damage caused by said entry or attendance, such as, but not limited to, hearing, vision and other physical disorders.
4. Some areas on the site can be (temporarily) closed to the public. These closures must be respected and followed at all times.
5. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek are in no way liable for damage to or loss of personal belongings.
6. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek are in no way liable for personal accidents that occur on the event site.
7. It is not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages to the festival site.
   
8. It is not allowed to bring warm meals or takeaway or delivery meals to the festival site.
9. It is not allowed to cause damage to the event, the location or the contents.

2. Tickets and Admission

1. Access to the event site is only permitted if you have a valid admission ticket or explicit permission from the organization.
2. Tickets are only valid for the day indicated on the ticket, with the exception of multi-day tickets. These multi-day tickets must be exchanged at the entrance for a wristband, which, if worn, provides access to the event.
3. Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Tickets cannot be returned in any way.
5. The organization is not responsible for loss, theft or not having the ticket with you.
6. Visitors under the age of 16 may only visit the event and the grounds when accompanied by an adult (18+). If in doubt, identification may be requested.
7. Wristbands are put on immediately upon redemption at the ticket provider. after this it is not allowed to pass this tape on to others.

3. Program

1. All mentioned program components are subject to change. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek are not liable for deviations therein and damage that may arise for visitors as a result.
2. CaDansa will strive to ensure that the program is carried out as much as possible according to the announced timetable. However, they are not liable for deviations therein and damage that may arise for visitors and / or third parties as a result.

4. Image and sound recordings

1. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek reserve the right to make image and/or sound recordings, whether or not commissioned.
2. By entering the event, persons agree in principle to the use of their image in promotional communications. Persons appearing in the recordings are not entitled to any compensation.
3. Bringing amateur photo and/or video equipment for personal use is permitted. Image and sound recordings made by the visitor during CaDansa are only permitted for non-commercial purposes. Commercial use of material requires prior consultation and written permission. This also applies to the sale of such material.

5. Sale

1. It is not allowed to sell food and drinks on and around the event site without permission from the organization.
2. It is allowed to sell products during the dress market that do not require a specific license, such as smoking materials and alcohol.

6. Products sold

1. CaDansa or Stichting Balfolkfabriek are not responsible for products sold by participants or visitors.

7. Take custody

1. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek reserve the right to take into custody goods/products that, in the opinion of the organization, may pose a danger to the owner or others. These are stored and can be retrieved from the organization by the owner at the end of the event.
2. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek are not responsible for theft, destruction or other defects that arise during the taking into custody of the goods/products.
3. Goods taken into custody are kept for two weeks after handing over. After that, the goods are destroyed.

8. Parking

1. Parking is available in the immediate vicinity of the event.
2. The visitor is responsible for having a parking ticket/blue disc and/or paying parking fees.
3. CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek bear no responsibility nor are they liable for any damage caused to person, vehicle or material in the car park.
4. In the Netherlands, sleeping in your car or camper/bus is only allowed on camper pitches. It is forbidden to spend the night in a car/camper/bus/caravan in a normal parking space. The visitor is responsible for parking in the right place. The organization is not responsible for any (parking) fines.

9. Behavior

1. Visitors are free to dress and behave as they wish, as long as they are of good morals and respectful of other visitors. In case of doubt about this, the organization of CaDansa, or an authorized person appointed by the organization, has the last word.
2. Attributes (this also applies to accessories and costumes) and statements with a political character (both the extreme left and the extreme right), discriminatory character or that are contrary to provisions of the Dutch constitution are prohibited. Moreover, we do not tolerate (verbal) violence. In the event of a dispute, please contact an employee of CaDansa and/or Stichting Balfolkfabriek. It is expressly forbidden to take the law into your own hands.

11. Other Provisions

1. Only guide dogs for the blind are allowed. Other animals are not allowed.
2. The organization or third parties appointed by them are free to deny anyone access to or further stay on the site without giving any reason.
3. In case of eviction, of whatever nature, no refund will be given.
4. Instructions from the organization or third parties appointed by them must be followed at all times.
5. Active flyering on the event site is not allowed, unless agreed with the organization. This also applies to parking lots and the surrounding locations. Flyers are understood to mean handing out leaflets and car window stickers.
6. CaDansa is a smoke-free festival. Smoking is only allowed outside. This also applies to e-cigarettes or vapers.
7. In line with Dutch law, we do not serve alcohol to persons under the age of 18. If in doubt, identification may be requested.
8. In addition to the general terms and conditions of CaDansa and Stichting Balfolkfabriek, the general terms and conditions of the site manager may also apply.
